Security

Security matched to how each product works.

Planner processes schedule files client-side in your browser. Report Forge and Workflows keep controlled project records with roles and audit history. The security posture follows the workflow, not the other way around.

Architecture

Two data models, one deliberate design.

Schedule review and controlled team records have different security needs. Kazinex splits them on purpose.

Kazinex Planner

Client-side schedule review

Planner opens your P6, XER, and MPP files in the browser. Parsing, quality checks, comparison, and reporting run in a local review workspace you control.

  • You select your schedule file
  • Planner reads it in the browser
  • Analysis, quality checks, and comparison run in the local review workspace
  • You decide when the browser workspace is cleared

Report Forge & Workflows

Controlled project records

The team products are built for collaboration and traceability, so their records are stored in a managed cloud database with governed access.

  • Report editions, documents, transmittals, correspondence, and reviews are stored as controlled records
  • Access is governed by project roles and permissions
  • Every change is captured in an audit trail
  • Records live in a managed, encrypted cloud database

Practices

The controls behind both models.

Grounded, product-level practices — no certifications claimed, only what the products actually do.

Encryption in transit

All communication with Kazinex uses industry-standard TLS/SSL encryption.

Role-based access

Report Forge and Workflows scope project records to roles and permissions, so people see and change only what they should.

Audit logs

Actions across documents, reviews, approvals, and correspondence are recorded as a traceable project history.

Payments via Stripe

Subscriptions are billed through Stripe. Card details are handled by Stripe — Kazinex stores no card numbers.

Managed authentication

Account sign-in and session handling run through a managed authentication provider rather than home-grown credential storage.

Client-side schedule review

Planner reads and analyses schedule files in the browser, reducing unnecessary movement of your project schedules.
